I'm a mechanical engineering student at UBC who likes building instruments that measure things precisely. Most recently I designed and built an automated profilometry system for UBC's robot-enabled Electron Microscopy Laboratory, funded by an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award. I'm currently on the engineering team at Colare in San Francisco.

Here's some of my selected work:

Colare
Mechanical Engineering Intern in San Francisco. Designing technical assessments for mechanical engineering candidates and auditing how we build them.
Profilometry System
An automated surface-topography scanner I built for UBC's robot-enabled Electron Microscopy Laboratory. NSERC USRA funded.
ExpMicroMech
Research Engineering Intern and Research Assistant with the Experimental Micromechanical Characterisation Research Group under Dr. Ben Britton.
UBC Formula Electric
Mechanical Designer on the FSAE team. Designed and waterproof-validated the driver interface dashboard enclosure for an electric race car.
McCreary Centre Society
Student Researcher. Analyzed BC Adolescent Health Survey data in SPSS and presented policy recommendations to the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare.
BC Junior Chess Association
Co-founder and President. Scaled to 75+ schools and 350+ students across BC with a team of 25 executives, and founded a free chess program for 150+ elementary students.
